Moooove Over Cows

For me, the proteins in cow's milk cause me to feel bloated and have a sick stomach.  Sorry cows.  It's just not much fun.

Luckily, I've found that I can enjoy dairy products from sheep, goats, and even buffalo, without any notable side effects.   So my recipes on this blog may include goat yogurt, sheep's cheeses, or buffalo mozzarella.  Recipes may also include butter.

In every recipe where any dairy product is used, I suggest appropriate non-dairy substitutes.  Often those items can simply be omitted.   If you do you use cow's milk and cheese, I strongly recommend going organic, as hormone injections in cows (not permitted in any developed nation other than the US)  have been associated with a variety of adverse health effects
