Welcome to the G-Free Chef!

I'm so excited to officially launch The G-Free Chef, my blog about gluten-free cooking, dining, and eating :) As a gluten-intolerant foodie, I know how challenging it can be to find and make interesting, tasty gluten-free food.

Each week in The G-Free Chef I will share new recipe ideas, tips, and information on how to eat well without gluten. It's been a long and fascinating journey growing up stuffing myself with pasta and bread to learning in my thirties that I was gluten-intolerant to embracing how good I feel about the way I eat today.

Of course, many meals we eat are already gluten-free without us realizing it, like chicken in corn tacos, steak and mashed potatoes, or Cajun shrimp over rice. Good gluten-free food transcends the gluten-free label. It's simply good food that everyone can enjoy. Many a guest have come and gone at my house without having ever considered that the meal they loved was entirely gluten-free, from the flaky baguette at the start, to the fruit crumble at the finish.

So whether you're g-free or not, come join me on my culinary adventure!

  1. Wow! Another venture. Good luck to you. I'm glad to hear buffalo mozzarella is OK. It's delicious and is one of my appetizers at my next event.
