Olive Tapenade on Gluten-Free Crisps

If your life is as busy as mine, you'll appreciate this quick and simple idea for a tasty gluten-free snack or appetizer.

When you're gluten-free, sometimes finding something new or satisfying to eat can feel like a burden. As a result, too often I have chosen something unhealthy to snack on in the mid-afternoon or, worse, remained hungry.

The other day I paired Trader Joe's Olive Tapenade - Traditional with Schar's gluten-free Crispbread. Heaven.


The tapenade is a wonderful, really fresh tasting mix of green and black olives, garlic, and capers. The crispbread is light and, well, crispy, and perfectly absorbs all of the flavor and oil from the tapenade. You can enjoy a single portion as a snack or make a platter as a savory appetizer for guests.
