Gluten-Free Hoisin Sauce

Do you avoid making Asian food recipes at home because they often require Hoisin and similar sauces that contain wheat? While it's increasingly easy to find gluten-free soy sauces (like Kikkoman's) in local grocery stores, few places sell gluten-free versions of other Asian cooking sauces.

My friend, Anne, came across this easy recipe for home-made g-free Hoisin sauce. Next time you're thinking of a recipe that requires Hoisin sauce, give this a go!

Combine and thoroughly mix the following ingredients:

3 Tablespoons of peanut butter (creamy)
5 Tablespoons of g-free soy sauce
2 Teaspoons of sesame oil
2 Teaspoons of Chinese hot sauce
1 1/2 Teaspoons of honey
1/4 Teaspoon of garlic powder
Touch of white pepper
